A Mental Health Break with a Game of PopIt

This is a sponsored post.online video gamesI feel like Charlie Brown! I just want to scream “ughhhhhhh” across the room.

Life has me super stressed out.

Between a condense semester of grad school (normal semester and all the work it entails done in only 7 weeks times two classes), freelance writing, kids, looking for work outside of the home, fighting with the Department of Job & Family Services to get medical coverage for myself, and occasionally working on the re-branding that I want to do for this blog, I am barely keeping my head above water.

I’m stressed and I’m in need of a few moments to unwind.

Usually when that happens I like to play video games. Typically, I will play Words With Friends on Facebook, Solitaire on my cell phone or Angry Birds through Google Plus. But I have a new site to go to now that I can use as a stress relief.

I just kicked someone’s butt playing a game of Battleship on pogo.

With pogo you can play over 100 online games for free. Or you can sign up for a monthly subscription and earn perks like ad free game play, exclusive games and more. You can get a 2 week free trial when you sign up for the monthly subscription!

Want to try out a game for free? Play PopIt here on my blog!

Enjoy!

Hi Jessica, my mom and I have been Pogo members for years (even before they became part of EA). We both have every single challenge badge they’ve ever issued! Mostly we play separately, but we do occasionally use the option to play together, just mom and I. We really enjoy the games!!

My husband loves playing computer games – they bring out his otherwise hidden nerdy side :)

I was just telling my little brother that there wasn’t an online video game site that I could play that wouldn’t give me a virus. I might have to put my grudges about EA aside and try it.
