2011 is ending. It has had its up and downs. I’m going to focus on the positives when I think back to this year, even if it’s only been the past couple of months. But, with that being said…
I am SO going to rock 2012!
As most of us do at the end of the year, I’m making plans to ensure that the new year is better than the previous one. I have a few financial, personal, blog and health related goals that I want to share with you all.
Financial
1. Save $1000 in my emergency fund.
2. Avoid filing for bankruptcy by finally starting a debt settlement program.
3. Increase my income each month through more freelance writing opportunities, blog income and substitute teaching.
4. Save up money to buy a new car so that I’m not stranded when Marquis Mark finally dies.
My financial goals and accomplishments are always listed under the tab at the top of this page.
Personal
1. Spend quality time with my oldest son who is showing signs of depression.
2. Spend quality time as a family doing fun, inexpensive, active activities in the area.
3. Make new friends in the area.
Blog
1. Post three times a week at a minimum (non-sponsored or guest posts).
2. Expand my reach by guest posting on other sites as well as commenting more frequently on other blogs.
3. Increase my revenue stream from this blog through advertising, sponsored posts and more.
4. Achieve a Page Rank of 3 with Google, >150,000 with Alexa, increase Facebook likes and RSS subscribers.
Health
1. Get gluten intolerance testing.
2. Eat a low salt, low fat diet.
3. Exercise a minimum of 4 times a week.
4. Lose 75 pounds.
5. Reduce blood pressure to the point where I no longer need medication.
I think every single one of these goals can be accomplished this year. I know I can do it. I’m going to kick 2012′s butt!
What is the one thing you simply must accomplish this year?

I also blog at A Five Star Life. I write about anything that comes to mind but try to focus on finding the good in daily life.
I love it! It’s going to be your year.
Good luck to you especially in your health goals. I lost over 70 pounds a few years ago it took me almost 8 months but it was the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I absolutely MUST get my dietary issues under control. I’m fat. I’m depressed and if I’m not careful, my health is going to suffer as a result. I’m already seeing signs. That. Must. STOP.
